When Will Fallout 4 Get a Next-Gen Update?
As of right now, there is no set release date for the Fallout 4 next-gen update, though the post states that there is a release window of 2023. Surely, more news will release closer to the launch, and we’ll update the information as necessary.
What is in the Fallout 4 Next-Gen Update?
In the Bethesda post going over the details of the 25th-anniversary celebration, it is mentioned that the Fallout 4 update will feature, “…performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay, bug fixes and even bonus Creation Club content!” It’s important to note that this implies every update will be coming to consoles and PC.
Is Fallout 4 Coming to Nintendo Switch
Sadly, it looks like the Nintendo Switch is not in the cards for the 25th-anniversary celebration in any way. While the isn’t confirmation of this, the reason behind this is likely due to the system’s underperforming hardware compared to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and high-end gaming PCs.
