Is Codashop Safe to Buy Top-Ups for Games?
The good news is that yes, it appears as though Codashop is a completely safe and legit site for you to buy credit top-ups for your games from. While it no longer sells Primogems for Genshin Impact, last year, Codashop and developer MiHoYo partnered to provide players a place to buy more of the premium in-game currency. When players were rightly cautious about purchasing the currency from a third-party, rather than directly in-game, the customer services for MiHoYo confirmed that players “can purchase there and it’s totally safe and legal.” It’s unclear why Primogems can no longer be purchased from Codashop, but there was some concern from players about the partnership when it was first announced. Outside of the Genshin Impact Primogems partnership, it should also be noted that Codashop doesn’t accept any returns or refunds. While this won’t be an issue if your purchase is safe and legit, if you’re a little hesitant about purchasing from a relatively unknown site, then this is something you’ll want to be aware of. That being said, Codashop does have a fairly high rating on Trustpilot, sitting at a 4.6 out of 5 from 505 customer reviews. That suggests that, if you do make a purchase through the site, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
